ASUS Memo Pad 7 app crashed and system frozen. Can't power off!

I was running the Chrome browser when it suddenly froze. I can not do anything on my
tablet! Not even power it of!
Help!

OK. Suddenly (after 20 min.) it shut off.
What the hell happened?
