asus tablet MK301 randomly rebooting - often

[AC Question]

my tablet started rebooting itself seemingly at random. it doesn't seem to matter whether i am reading email or in a browser window or doing nothing at all (although I imagine there are lots of background tasks humming away) ... it just reboots without any warning.

any ideas
