ASUS tablets

You?re looking for USB host capability and, no. To my knowledge no tablets currently support USB host.

Although it is curious why they would offer multiple USB connections on the dock of the transformer if it only used a USB connection to call home to a larger computer?

Thanks, I'll head over there and check it out. I'll just read since I don't feel like creating an account. :P

I've read the Toshiba tablet will let u run a thumb drive optical drive keyboard or mouse from.usb
So does the Transformer (or any Android tablet for that matter) allow for the management of external storage devices via USB?

Atomicage... i hope that link is right because this is what i read in the link i posted...

That depends on whether or not you're buying the optional laptop dock accessory. Those are supposedly going to sell for $150. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer itself will reportedly sell for $550 -- previous reports showing it priced at $400, while tantalizing, were apparently misleading.

The author's source on the $550 price is another Yahoo News article in which the $550 is clearly stated to be an assumption based on European pricing. We all know gadgets tend to be cheaper here in the US due to taxes and other factors, so I think that that information is likely wrong. I'd expect to see something in the $550-650 range for the total package including keyboard. Hopefully on the lower side of that range.
