Got my TF in the mail last Wednesday. Lit is up and put in on Wifi. Checked for the update and nothing. Played with it for about half an hour and I noticed that there was a notification waiting for me, it was for the update. All together it took about 30 minutes after connecting to wifi for the update to show up for me.

My 3.1 update appeared about 30 seconds after I powered it on and connected it to wi-fi. The only delay was waiting for it to charge up to 50% to install. I guess I got lucky since I got the update and don't have light leak or power button issues. Actually I love my Transformer and haven't had any issues at all.

Got my 3.1 just after midnight on the first day. Still can not believe I am running Honeycomb v3.1. Wow.

Nice to see "You have an update, look in notifications" or something similar.

I got my transformer delivered today. It is still on 3.0.1. Haven't seen an update yet.

For the love of all that is holy. For people who don't have it yet, you will get it. So stop posting with the "i don't have it yet" crap. You'll get it, it's a staggered release of the update to people. So take a chill pill and step away from the keyboard so you won't post any more crap.

I got the update last night, upgrade process took less than 5 minutes and it has been working well. I did not spend enough time with it before the upgrade or after to notice a substantial change. It is working well though. Now I am looking for the dock

I am in Toronto, Canada and bought my Transformer last Friday. I did not receive the 3.1 update until yesterday. And I have to charge my transformer since it has low power, lol. For those who does not have the update yet: no need to panic and just enjoy your transformer. Install the apps you need and configure the way you like it. Your update will come when you least expect it, especially if your battery is low.

Thank you for your post that doesn't contribute. I was trying to cut down on the amount of people that complain that they don't have the update yet. When you have 20+ people (not this thread btw) saying they haven't received the update, after it's been explained it's a staggered release and that they will get it, it's a lil bit annoying. Much like your post.

2. Download Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Firmware: V8.4.4.5 Only for WW SKU and Update Launcher SOP WW
3. Please follow the steps in the SOP manual to update the firmware.

※Firmware update cannot do *SKU conversion*. Wrong SKU may cause update failure
*How to check SW version of your Eee Pad Transformer TF101?
Path: [Settings]-->[About tablet]-->Build number
Example: You should be able to see the build number WW_epad-8.X.X.X_2011xxxx, where ?WW? means SKU.
You can only update your SW version on the Same SKU.

2 Problems on my transformer. Lock window froze. Played with power key,it unfroze. I had to eliminate lock page. Results were better. 2nd problem. wi fi signal came and went on tablet. consequently changed router as I thought router at fault. I could not get the tablet to accept new router. Phoned Asus. The best they could do is tell me to do a factory reset. Made no difference. End of story. Returned it . Waiting for Toshiba Thrive tablet. Hope it will better.

The Android 3.1 update also updates: GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Kernel versions, & Build number. When you first receive your Transformer, Asus suggests you check your firmware to make sure you have the latest firmware version. The firmware on the Asus website is still Android 3.0.1. However, since Transformers have been slowly dripped and drizzled into the market, there is no telling what version any given Transformer is going to come with. If yours comes with the first 3.0.1 version, it may not upgrade to 3.1 as readily as the last 3.0.1 update version (5-20-11 build). I don't know that for a fact, though.

We are trying to help you out here. I would agree with other members, in that right now, patience is your friend. Asus seems to be getting updates out in a timely manner. If it isn't fast enough for you, you can install the leaked version...

Have you done a hard reset? (factory wipe)

You can manually download the update from ASUS support website. Create a folder, follow the instructions, and it will prompt & install for you. Make sure to get the correct update for your region.
