Asus Zenpad 3s10 tablet stuck on Fastboot mode screen

[Android Central Question]

Hi there Android folks need a little help, i bought an Asus Zenpad 3s10 tablet in October which I LOVE. recently been having some random shut down issues.
I had one on Saturday which I solved by pressing the volume down and power button.

This morning i turned my tablet alarm clock off and 5 min later the tablet was off. Pressing Power button and Volume down buttons brought me to the boot screen where I have the words -

= > FASTBOOT mode....at the top of the screen, then the ASUS in search of Incredible and the Powered by Android logo.

Here is where the tablet is locked.
I cannot get out of this screen! either by pressing Volume up + Power or Volume down + Power or just Power. I have held all buttons for close to a minute and nothing.

Obviously this is a tablet and I cannot take out the battery. HELP!

Same problem here, as well. Started today. No system updates were installed as far as I'm aware.

Tried to turn my zenpad on half asleep the other night and got stuck on exactly the same screen, could not power off tablet or get into recovery mode. Messed about with buttons then bingo! Hold down power button and both volume up and volume down buttons at the same time and the tab reboots back to normal. Hope this helps tried it again, works everytime.

So that didnt work for me is there any other way to remove it from the fast mode? The step that are post on the forum. ☹

If that doesn't work, the problem is most likely a corrupt ROM, so you'll have to reflash the tablet. (And yes, you won't have any of your apps, pictures, etc - but if it won't boot to Android mode, they're already gone.) Google flash Zenpad 3s10. (By he way, it's bootloader mode. Fastboot is the program you run on a PC to access the bootloader.)
