AT&T 8.0 KitKat Update - AMAZING

finally got my kitkat update for i467 and i am mindblownly amazed, unlike what others have been experiencing. it seems like people are reporting a stutter and less battery life. it's the opposite for me.

the device is def faster and has less lag. but most importantly, my battery life just tripled after the update. with 4.1, i was lucky to get 60 min out of my tablet running at the highest setting. after the update, i am pushing 3 hours at the max setting, and almost 8 hours with battery saver with continuous use. i can't imagine how long it will last on stand-by when it lasts almost 8 hours with use.

am i the only one who has seen such a dramatic improvement?

My touchscreen no longer freezes for seconds on end. My battery is significantly better. My WiFi holds onto reception better. Always had amazing cell coverage so I can't comment on that. Back to touchscreen, more accurate stylus input.

I noticed that less RAM is used on a regular basis, Kit Kat is much more fluid between tasks and animations. And more responsive to initial touches.

I'm amazed too -- amazed at how my formerly awesome Samsung Note 8 now runs like a pig in mud, eats more battery for less performance and has crippled access to an important part of my usage: the SD card. Kitkat really is a piece of crap.
