AT&T Address Book sync issue

So I'm enjoying my S3, but I just noticed an issue where my ATT address book won't stop syncing and it's running my phone battery down fast. I'm not sure if it's caused by the watch or not.

I also had my Hotmail account stop syncing with Samsung's stock email app the same time the ATT address book issue started up. In fact, while I can set up my email in Gmail and Outlook, the Samsung email app no longer accepts it even though it's the one email app I've used for years.

Any thoughts? Seems very coincidental that these two issues started up right after setting up my Gear... (Bluetooth only version).
