AT&T Backordered

Checked my order from AT&T that I placed online Friday morning. Status has changed to Back Ordered. That did not make me happy.

I wonder if they underestimated the demand, or if the phones have not been delivered from LG? I ordered the plastic backed version. This is not an auspicious start with Verizon delivering their version.

Yep. Mine is backordered too.. Ordered Saturday I think. We chatted with someone online and he said a week or two but wouldn't say exactly.

Sorry to hear that for your sake but good news for LG! I think they are going to have strong sales. Arguably the best flagship out there for most of us.
LG listened to what we wanted and delivered!

It looks like mine shipped today too. When I go to the Order Status link on ATT it still says Pending Confirmation but I just got a text from FedEx, since I have an account with with. When I track the item, it was picked up today at 1:30 and will be delivered on Thurs 6/4. Free 2 day shipping with Business/Premier account.

I have a premier account as well but am showing delivery scheduled for Friday. Hopefully that will change but I doubt it.

I talked to a very helpful rep from BestBuy today who re-assured me that my ATT phone would be ready for pickup on the 4th!!

Mine shows shipped now...but it shows by USPS instead of Fedex. Strange since it initially refused to accept my PO Box number where I get my mail and would only accept my physical address which is not served by the PO. Not showing up in the tracking system as of yet, but I guess there is nothing to do but wait.

Mine is shipping UPS. So...apparently they are using almost every shipping method available. I've seen UPS, Fedex and USPS mentioned in this thread.

Just got my email from AT&T saying it shipped this afternoon, FedEx for Thursday delivery. Seems to be a fairly steady stream of shipments. I'm curious to see what the "units shipped/sold" numbers are going to be in the future couple of months, with this phone out on all 4 of the major carriers in the US, plus the international unlocked units, plus the few regional carriers I believe it's going to be available on also.

Pre-ordered in store on Sunday - shipped today via UPS with ETA of Friday. I just hope it doesn't get pushed back to Monday - UPS has been doing that to me lately...
