Question at &t backup will be lost optimize now

i got notification on this i said no what does this means something about background Optimize Battery Life will stop working

i don't know what it means anybody tell me what heck that is i should had did a screen shot i think this is that at &t cloud thing am not sure

If the background optimization of the battery and AT&Ts cloud are related I don't see how.

When I plugged in your terms I just got a generic reply from Google talking about what it might mean if your background optimization stops working. I was hoping it might point me to a device brand or something that noted, this device will lose this option or ability on this date, but no. I assume AT&T's cloud came to mind because of the mention of background activity. I just do not believe that a backup action is going to affect battery life or performance which seems to be what the notification is hinting at.

no i said not now and it went away s25 plus i did see it saying at and t cloud about if don't optimze apps will stop working background however they are all optimize under battery part so i don't understand what is going on when i open it it show at an t battery thing not now or optimize<-i don't even know how to go back to it if i were to put it on that nor do i know if it will show up again in a few days

i'm going to call at and t tech support or chat i have never seen this come up before i'm new at and t been 3 weeks over there with new phone

somebody email me just few mins ago i got that again am not sure what is going on

don't tell me that at &t have their own little battery optimze thing besides phone that kindof dumb if you asked me<old phone s20 plus verizon never said anything like that meh

i went into at and t chat i believe they told me its under device care i see last auto memory cleaning was 6 now 7 hours ago something about device care automatically performs optimzations to keep your phone running smoothy this included closing background apps and cleaning memory



i assuming this is where came from was told it will pop up again 2 or 3 weeks if i said not now it won't do nothing background apps

i just want to bump this and said last night i went back at and t chat and they told me nothing to at and t but it device care and because it was pre order new device it should show little battery icon not now or optimize


said it will come up in a few days i have discovered when i went into device care battery that device care is unrestricted i see option optimized and restricted<-however i can't change it to any of the options


boy howdy i don't know what to do i hope it will come up i don't know if i need to clear data in storage device care or what

if i would had said optimized past sun night it would had come up device care in apps when i click on battery meh

it actually saying that both optimized and restricted is grey out only unrestricted is bubble in because i said not now past sun night



maybe i should had left that window open battery icon after i said not now i could had selected to optmize instead swiping and closing it

you know i been thinking alot of the current situation i am so lets review everything at and t notify me sun night<-am not sure when it happen since i had place phone down and i only saw it when i unlocked phone few hours later



saying apps running in background will stop working if don't optimize<-trying to scare me i guess i click on it show battery icon i said not now which made me postpone optimize in device care battery hence reason why if i go to app battery device care and click battery<-its being on unrestricted despite my apps already on optimized but eating up alot of battery



now this being post pone meaning that it will once again a few days perhaps again this coming up sun tell me same message to optimize i click on it shows battery icon same 2 options however this time around will click on optimize and when i go look into battery device care it will be on optimized and i be ok with battery life on phone

is everything that i'm saying correct or not?



my nine email app has to be unrestricted in order to get push notifications optimized won't work said it in app i had that nine email app previous phone and also had it unrestricted btw

so it seems to me samsung chat coming from them saying that since pre install device care that when you go to settings apps find device care click on battery by default supposed to be unrestricted and despite optimize and restricted are there they are also supposed to be grey out<-this is correct right?



seems i need to call or chat with at and t figure out why i got that notification past sun night what did it really want to optimize seems it coming from at and t cloud<-must be because why notify last night to finish setting it up?

when i said not now did i really lose stuff or not am not sure will come back notify me again

yep just went into chat at and t finally got answer it was from stupid at and t cloud wanted to backup optimize now and i said not now

at and t chat told me it shouldn't notify me again and i did dismissed setting it up notification this morning not sure get notify that i can always disable

i do recall 1 day last week open up at and t cloud app

i want to thank spook droid to be the only person to clarify by default that it is true that since pre owned on phone device care when you go to battery after settings in apps it will be unrestricted despite see option optimize and unrestricted<-you can't choose any of those options

man it been madness every since sun and last few days at least now i can rest easy stupid at and t cloud backup optimize now perhaps good thing i didn't optimize

since i got samsung cloud don't need it<-i did last night 1st time manually backup samsung cloud btw
