AT&T Galaxy S3 - 4.3 Update.. Amazing battery improvement

I an really impressed with this update. I unplugged my phone at 8 AM today and it's now 7:45 PM and my battery is at 85%! Everything runs faster, smoother and overall, way better. Great job by both Samsung and AT&T!

I think you're the first one to experience great battery life on 4.3. How long have you had your phone? What is your typical daily usage like?

I suspect my battery is marginally worse. It's not significant, but I notice it.

I've had my garnet red GS3 since Aug 2012.. As I said, I'm NOT a power user and work from home, so the data is primarily WiFi.. However, even when I get out and return home, I'm still seeing improved performance. I have JD installed and operate in power saving mode. Screen brightness is NOT auto but set at around 80%. I do NOT listen to music on my phone since I have a Roku and stream via my home theater.. That said, I had a couple of 40 minute calls during the last charge cycle and still got 48 hours on one charge.. that's NOT what I was accustomed before the update. I also find many of the new features VERY cool, especially the voice control for answering calls and shooting photos
