AT&T Pre-Orders start on 4/16, what is the typical amount of time ATT uses for pre-orders is it 1 week, 2 weeks or longer? Verizon typically is 1 week of pre-orders then whamo its in the store. I have to play with hit hands on before I port and drop cash @ ATT.

Are you serious? Read the sentence again:

It doesn't say anything about releasing the phone first. They're referring to preorders which is why they have the preorder date in the same sentence. Why is that so hard to comprehend? I feel stupid debating English with you.

Exactly. You can recoup this when it's time to sell. Exactly the same pricing on the S4 as the S3 on the 16 and 32GB versions.

Just buy the 16GB version, and ad a 64GB SD card for 50$-60$ more! =D

If the s4 contract prices are the same as the s3 was, I think the off contract prices would be the same. The 16GB was 549. Not sure about the 32GB, I guess 599?

If you go by last month's release pattern for the Z10 on AT&T, it will be in store the end of the following week, that is, by Friday, April 26, just about three weeks from now. (That would be sooner than T-Mobile then.)

That is my plan as well. I have a 64GB Class 10 from my GS3 and look forward to putting it to use. Music, movies, podcasts, etc.

If its available for pre order on the 16th, I'm going to say it should be shipping the last week of April to very early May. Which aligns with what we've heard so far with T-Mobile having the S4 ready for purchase May 1st.

I pre-ordered the S3 and the Note 2. I think I m going to sit this pre order out and watch from the sidelines if I do not get sucked in lol!. Good luck to all and remember to be patient, expect issues especially with premiere. Do not get yourself so upset that you want to quit ATT which I see with every new phone pre order cycle. Hang in there all!
