I tried going to the UPS facility to pick mine up but it was on the way from the sort facility at the airport. It was scanned at the facility I went to ten minutes after I left. I will have to wait until tomorrow. Ugh!

You'll have to go to the Samsung promotional site once you get your phone and register. Took me all of 5 min

After being unsuccessful in retrieving my GS8 directly from UPS, it's on the truck for delivery. Hopefully I can retrieve it at lunch.

I preordered 2 S8+, they both departed at the exact same time from Hialeah, FL. But only one shows its out for delivery?!?! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Swinging by house to an appointment with AT&T to copy SIM data and get the device on the network. From there, I will install apps that I actually still use and trick out the phone to my liking. I will also be putting my Otterbox Defender case on it.

Hello all. Back in the Android family now. Ive had this beautiful galaxy s8 for 24 hours now and loving it!!! Just switched from the iPhone6 and very happy I did it! Hang in there people that haven't received yet. She's worth the wait.

I was told the same. I thought by calling last Friday, it would be close that I could preorder and still push forward two years. I have another line with an upgrade opportunity. If my wife decides she wants to upgrade.

ATT has shot me down for a 2 year contract. When I called on the 30th I was told by an ecommerce deptmart rep that I could get the regular Galaxy S8 for $199.99 on April 21st since you couldn't do a preorder over the phone. Come to find out ATT doesn't do 2 year contracts for anyone except certain bussiness accounts depending on their contract with ATT. I finally found a rep that had the option for 2 year contract but ATT wants $299.99 for a regular Galaxy S8. The regular Galaxy S line has always been $750 outright or $199.99 with a 2 year contract at launch. When I question the price they talk to a supervisor who says 2 year contracts aren't allowed anymore. I am on old Nation 450 minute and unlimited data with 1500 texts for $70 after employer discounts and every tax and fee possible. This plan has the cost of the 2 year contract subsidy builtin. If ATT doesn't want to do 2 year contracts they can lower my bill by $22.92 each month since that how much I am paying for a subsidy that I can't use. At this point I am ready to leave ATT. I am have contacted someone in ATT's Excutive Response Team but I hadn't back yet. My next option is to contact the BBB.
