AT&T: Galaxy S9/S9+ Official Pre-Order Thread

man I don't know how there are so many complaints in the forums about battery life. I got my S9+ yesterday around 10, charged it up and messed with it heavily ALL DAY. I still had 20% at 2am
 
Mine is still stuck on preparing to ship and I ordered at 12:59 AM 3/2. This is infuriating. I don't know why I am always the last one to receive my device from AT&T.
 
If I text the order status number AT&T provides it comes back as saying the item is on backorder. The website says preparing to ship. Customer service at the order center couldn't give me a straight answer, but it seemed she was indicating a back order issue or not having our configuration in stock and they are waiting to get that before they send it out. In any event - who knows what is going on with my device. I really want to switch to T-Mobile - they always get their devices out to their customers on time. Just out of curiosity - are you all waiting on s9+ black? Or are you waiting on a different color? i will be really angry if it does not ship by today which is when it was promised.

Same for me. Shows preparing to ship. Ordered black s9+ at 1am on 3/2.

Does anyone know if customer service will let you switch from shipping to pick up? I'd rather just go walk in and grab one tomorrow morning than rely on shipping at this point.

Same as me. I'm currently working on getting it canceled.
 
just finished a chat. rep set appointment for me to go into a store and pick up my midnight black S9 today. they stated that they've made notes to my account to have the store release the phone to me to complete my order. will post how that goes
 
Those who DID receive the phone already, could you post a screen shot of your order page? (With personal information removed) There's somthing I want to compare with mine.

Just tried to ask. They basically told me it can't be done. Will try a different agent later and see if I get a different answer.
 
Okay my chat rep said to make an appointment at the store and they would be able to fulfill the pre-order. She said they wouldn't do it until tomorrow though, which is understandable. I tried to save the chat log but don't have an email with it yet. She said she also put a note on the acct on the back end.

She didn't cancel my order though so we'll see what happens. I'm thinking they know it won't ship today.
 
I didn't pre-order but I went into my local AT&T store last night and they said they will have them in stock tomorrow. I have an S8+ but I think I'm going to pick one up tomorrow after work.
