AT&T Gear S from Target on T-Mobile

I see a Target near me has the AT&T Gear S available. I have seen conflicting reports about whether this will work on T-Mobile. Can anyone confirm that it will or will not work on T-Mobile?

I can confirm that I bought a Att version from Target, paid to have it unlocked and then proceeded to watch it not work on the tmobile wearable plan. The tmobile network and sim card keeps identifying the watch as a phone and gives this mm#6 error. I'm disgusted.
So in my experience, an unlocked ATT watch will not work on a tmobile wearable plan

T-Mobile wearable plan only works with T-mo versions of Gear S and S2 because it looks up of those known IMEIs. However, if you can find a T-Mo CSR that knows what he is doing, he can enter your AT&T watch's IMEI number into the database and it will work. But this is YMMV. Some get it work. Others not so lucky.
Otherwise, if you are willing to pay full smartphone plan price, it should work as long as you get it unlocked.
