Does anyone know if AT&T has been field testing the 4G LTE version? If so, what does it look like? How is the hardware and features versus the international version?

I am a RIM user considering a move to Android. At this point so close to the US release, carriers usually start field testing. Some of those testers were often members of sites like this one and usually post their observations.

Do people love making the title of their posts misleading on purpose? No offense op, but it seems a lot of posts are like this lately.

When I see your title, I think AT&T is doing field testing. All you had to do was put a question mark at the end and it would have been ok.

Fair enough. The opposite could be true as well. I am only trying to grab attention to stimulate conversation not to mislead. Being a non-Android owner but really excited about a device which I have not been in a long time, I really want to know that, based upon real use, I am making a good move to a better OS and UX.

Like I said, no offense, I just happen to be noticing it more and more.

Yes, you're making a good decision switching.

I would like to see the feedback from US variant testers. I would also like to see videos comparing versus US variants of the One X, EVO, and other Samsung models. Right now, all we have to go on are the international variants comparisons. While exciting and informative, these international videos are not the best fit for NA users as the processor is different and that carriers may have specified their own tweaks like bloatware. It does seem like a good decision and no offense taken.

Once the US version gets closer to be released you will see tons of comparsion videos. You just have to be patient.

Trying to be patient but field testing has to be going on as well as training of store reps. These reps often give away their test units to friends and relative who all post the videos well before the release.

There have to be someone outside of the carriers that are testing these phones. Leaks always happen that are a part of building the hype over the product.

It's possible that they are testing but don't you think if they want to leak anything, they would without an "official" forum post requesting info? It's called patience. The info will come out soon (I hope, lol).

And I second that these forum titles are becoming VERY misleading.
