At&t GS8+ on T-Mobile question

I have an at&t GS8+ I would like to unlock and use on the T-Mobile network. Has anyone done this? Any advise? Will continue looking online but thought I would ask here as well.

in which way do you plan to unlock it?

unlock from carrier network only. do not plan on rooting.

I did it. GSM for both, so even the Sim was compatable.
