AT&T HTC ONE - tough decisions ahead!

The HTC One X was released on AT&T with ICS when JB was hitting the ground. HTC was the first to say JB is coming! We'll, it's been a year.
And now look, the exact same situation presents itself again. For some reason the AT&T / HTC combo sucks. Why is that?

Who cares? Root it and put your own JB rom on it. Why wait for the carrier with all their crapware imbedded into the image?

I did that with my One X. It's still frustrating. I have a lot of friends that would never root and it's simply not a good business model. As for me, I am loving Viper and hope the Dev's put together a KLP :-D rom for it soon after Google announces it!
