I can't believe they haven't given us the 5.1.1 update when samsung pay is so close ( I really want to use it ) I'm really hoping they don't mess over its customers

Try living in Australia. Though for once Australia was one of the first places to get an update. Weird as we usually take months to get them

I can say this is one positive to my Moto X Pure Edition ... quick updates.

There really is no telling on when AT&T will push 5.1.1 --- I am not sure if you can even contact anyone to actually get a real reason as to why.

other phone that in for quick updates is IOS so has soon has i can save up at lest 680 am doing a ealry pay off of my samsung note 5 and then swiching too the Iphone 6S since i got the samsung note 5 on 8/30 not one OTA update

I got excited, seemed like a big update, took a long time, but after update, Android version is still 5.0.2

Why would you expect an OTA update for a brand new phone when it's not even 1 month old? You wouldn't get anything like that for iOS either. There's only updates pushed for issues that they fix. Apple isn't pushing updates every month or something for iOS and just because it gets an update doesn't mean you will notice anything.

That's not really a good reason to save up so much money to pay off a new phone like that.

Bookmark the corresponding AT&T update page. It describes all the updates and removes any guesswork.

I agree. I am done with carrier branded phones. I had to send my S6 in for "repair" and I am temporarily using my M8 GPE. Once I get my S6 back, I will selling it and waiting on the new nexus to be released. I am tired of carriers holding off on updates and the bloat ware is obnoxious at this point. We pay all this money for phones and get stuck with all their BS...I'm done with it...no more!!!

Your n5 should have came with 5.1 so what's your issue
