Hey guys, new here and was looking for a quick info. Last time I've owned a Samsung phone was the S7 and I remember being able to flash the AT&T version to the unlocked version using some software that I believe was originally for developers only.

Anyone know if that is still possible today with the S20? I also plan to purchase an unlocked code so I can use the AT&T version to T-Mobile. Will there be any missing bandwidth or 5g issues using that phone on the T-Mobile network?

Hi, welcome to AC!
Once you unlock the device , Tmobile sim should work without a issue and should reconfigure to Tmobile. You can can still flash but its unnecessary unless a issue arises.

Will T-Mobile configure a sim unlocked AT&T version with WiFi calling? Do you know what software is being used now to flash the phone to the unlocked version?

Yes it should , Odin is used for flashing , you can flash to unlocked version also if you wish after you sim unlock your phone.

So when I purchase the Fold 2 and iPhone 12 on Verizon and wait 60 days to unlock them I should get all the 5g bands of T-Mobile and AT&T? Thanks
