AT&T Messages Back Up & Sync

So , this feature has been greyed out in the stock app since Orero update , in settings within app nothing I do to get it to work , in settings on the phone - All Apps I don't see AT&T BU&S , apparently it should be there ...various reps for AT&T pointed me there, then one in live chat told me many people are having this issue and they are working on it ( yes I know, live chat rep ) , anyone here having saem issue ?

Yes. Same issue here. The feature says it's on but is all grayed out.

it's very annoying, it was a feature I used several times for various reasons. hope it gets resolved soon

Same issue here.grayed out and says "Checking with cloud. Please try again later."

How did AT&T miss this in there testing?

I got a notification to sync messages today and sure enough it was there in settings in the messenger app , yet when I went though it I could see the icon up top spinning but no messages appeared.... although it says they were backed upped and synced ....let's see how it goes

so, I've noticed this works after each update ( security and Oreo) but is greyed out again after, so works once and that it is
