AT&T Next Plan or 2 Year Contract??

I just wait a couple months after the phone comes out, then buy it used for 1/2 price... Keep my 3 lines w/unlimited talk/text and 10gb for $140 w/tax. ;)

I currently am under contract with an unlimited data plan. My contract isn't up until October 2015. Would it be worth my while to switch over to the Next Plan?

What specifically are you on (minutes and texts) and how much are you paying? How much data do you use?

Im on the next plan 3 lines my bill higher than all out doors. Its not a problem and at&t pretty good service. Let me say this though. In order to upgrade your phone after you pay it off you have to turn in your current phone. The next plan was awesome becuz me and the wife got the Galaxy S5 the day it came out. But no way in hell am I gonna give this phone back after I pay it off just to get another phone. I mean you paying for a phone you dont keep. No im keeping this phone after I pay it off and buying my next phone flat out cash upfront. The next plan is nice to get a new phone when $ was tight but im not paying for it then giving it back noway. Think about it folks. I'll leave at&t if need be

Do NOT fall for the ATT "next plan" scam like I did!!! You might not have to pay anything up front but you are paying 3x what you used to have to pay to upgrade a phone. And they won't let you out of it when you realize what the scammed you into after 14 days!! You end up paying for the phone in FULL $600 dollars plus. No more $199 upgrade phones they charge you the full price which is usually over $500 (because I got the galaxy 5 it was $650 I am paying over the long run!!!

You forgot the cost of the phone?? Where as you used to be able to upgrade and get a $199 Samsung Galaxy 5 phone now you are paying the full $600+ cost of the phone!!! Just because you aren't paying up front theats how they scam you and won't let you out of it!! I have been an att customer for 10 years and up till now have thought them great. Now I can't get rid of them quick enough and now I can't because I would have to pay $1,200 to do so!!!

If your already on mobile share the next program is usually cheaper.
2 year contract adds $25 × 24 months = $600 plus $36 activation fee along with $199 for the phone. $835 over two years

Where as next program a $650 phone puts you at like $27 a month and $45 tax.
Which would be $695 over the two years and you also can pay phone off whenever you want and arent stuck in contract.
My note 3 was way better deal doing the next program then 2 year contract which they tried to talk me into
