AT&T Night Mode Camera Update

Any AT&T owners see it yet?

Well... the AC post never said it was rolling out to AT&T devices (or US devices for that matter). In fact, they don't specify anything and (shame on them) the source they cite DOES state that it's only Switzerland ATM.

The new update is yet to arrive in any country other than Switzerland, but the rollout should expand in the coming days.

Regardless, reports are that it is just the night mode that is already in the scene optimizer, but broken out so you can activate it when you want it. It is not something to compete with the Gcam Night Sight.

More than just night mode. Improves HDR and other things it said.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, but at least one person on Reddit who has to update says there isn't much difference. I'm not concerned, myself. I like the camera, and have Gcam installed if I really want a better night shot.

True. However, he posted pics to show his update along with a photo comparison. Could be BS, but would take some work.

TechTV YouTube channel claims that.Samsung is rolling it out worldwide. If true, AT&T needs to push it soon.

did some testing with the night mode and it's alright nothing mind blowing like some other devices.

I took 3 pictures one in Normal mode, Night mode and Pro mode with a custom adjustment.

Night mode does take better pictures in low light than in Normal Photo mode.

The best is with Pro mode, if you can hold your device still for 10 seconds
