AT&T Note 3: Isis payment app

I signed up with it yesterday and registered for Amex Serve card (got me a free $50) and the process was relatively easy. I use a prepaid card anyway so this actually seemed real inviting to me especially given the fees involved are very minimal.

There are no fees for using Amex Serve for Isis tap-to-pay, are there?

So long as it is registered to the app, no but I'm thinking there might be at the ATM if you use the card (thieven machines!) :-\
I'm actually looking forward to giving this a try and hope they expand the list of vendors quickly. I'm already using my phone to pay for all my Starbucks purchases (SB app) and I'm finding that I rather like it.

Each time I used it I paid for my full meal with the funds on the serve card... Have not yet used up the entire $50 yet... I doubt you will run into any limitation with it.

I went to McDonald's yesterday and tried to use it and if didn't work. It could have been the machine. Has anyone had issues using it with a case on your phone?

ive used it on vending machines, mcdonalds, and petco to buy dog food!.. i love the app and they sent me the card as well... i believe it can be reloaded at cvs and walmart.

I just tried it again at another McDonald's and it worked flawlessly. Then I went to CVS and it worked there too. So I went to another McDonald's and no issue.

That one dollar up to 50 dollars is money you get BACK for purchases. You can get $1 back for each purchase, up to $50 in a month.

It can be reloaded at CVS and Walmart and I believe, Walgreens also. They sell the cards in Walgreens and have huge signs about them, so you should be able to reload it there also. You can also do direct deposit if you wanted to. You can also email money to people with it I think.

I set up my debit card behind to replenish it when it gets down to 0. I have been using it a lot more than I had expected. I think that in the last three days I have used it about a half dozen times. Even though it's not any different than paying with your credit card, it's very cool to do and others think it's cool too.

The better thing about Google Wallet, you can put any loyalty card in there. I'm expecting them to also do something where you can upload things like insurance cards, drivers license, etc in both of them. It is really good if you are at an event or place where there are a lot of vendors that accept either Isis or GW or both, especially for women and men to a certain extent, but not as much.

We women do not have to carry our purse and can just put a few dollars in our pocket in case we need something we can't buy with our phone. Men can leave their wallets also and then you don't have to worry about them getting stolen or accidentally dropping them. For women though, it is the best thing to be at an all day or several hour event, not need your purse or have to worry about all your money being in your pocket.

Now that Isis is out of the test market of Austin and AT&T users were blocked from using Google Wallet, but aren't now and more new phones are sold.. We will see a lot more people using this system. We have a music festival here every year and a Greek Food festival every year also and I can't wait until all the vendors there use this payment system. It will be so freeing to be there all day and most of the night and not have to find some small purse to carry and then not having to make sure no one gets in my purse in the crowd

I'm hoping that it catches on. I would like to see all registers with them some day. I'm looking forward to the day when we no longer need to carry a wallet.
