Does the AT&T Note 4 work well on the T-mobile network?

I recently brought my AT&T Note 4 over to t-mobile. The data speeds are slow. The APN settings are correct.

Sounds like the T-Mobile I know. I want them to be good, but even in the heart of Metro Orlando there are plenty of areas that drop to Edge. There are also areas where my phone says LTE but speed tests show barely 2 mbps. Of course there are areas where it is crazy fast too. It's just an inconsistent experience.

If you were lcoal, I'd trade you my tmobile note 4 that I'm running on at&t lol. I haven't had any problems using it on at&t, my data speeds are the same as when I was using an at&t phone. I never had to adjust apn settings or anything.

I'm on Samsung's website comparing the antennas between the two versions.

Att version: 2G GSM: GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900;
3G UMTS: B1(2100), B2(1900), B5(850);
4G FDD LTE: B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B17(700), B20(800);

T-Mobile version: 2G GSM: GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900;
3G UMTS: B1(2100), B2(1900), B4(AWS), B5(850);
4G FDD LTE: B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700);

Maybe the differences have something to do with the data speeds you're getting.

I think that's probably the problem. The t-mobile rep said it would work fine on their network. Has anyone else had any trouble?

I just ported my At&t Note 4 over to T-Mobile and doing well so far. I just did a speedtest and i got 42 down and 17 up. Im Located in Miami

Dan, any chance you could give us an update if you have had any problems? I'm also based in Miami and deciding to snag a cheap AT&T unlocked Note 4 to use on T-Mobile's network.

Thanks.
