At&t on notification

Does anybody know if there is a way to remove AT&T from the top of my notification bar? My moto x was able to get rid of it finally. I sure can't find a way without rooting.

You can try using another launcher, such as Nova - Play Store. If that doesn't work then it likely isn't possible without rooting.
