AT&T Pre-Orders: Come In!

I was amazed at how soon I was able to preorder...before the Unpacked Event was done.

I wasn't going to order the S22 Ultra, but I caved...the price being less was the main reason why.

I ordered a 256 Ultra. Called AT&T and got connected immediately to a rep. working out of a call center in Manila. He knew the drill and I was off the phone in ten minutes.

Also, someone on Reddit said you should be able to register your imei once you get the phone on the Samsung Shopping app. and get promotional items. At least they claim they did it for the S21 last year.

I called originally, but the rep didn't make me feel confident they knew what was going on. I hung up and went on the website. Took a little over 5 minutes.

Upgraded both mine and my wife's using At&t Next, was a pleasant surprise when they offered $350 off for for doing so. GS22U 512GB for $950.....I'll take it.

AT&T offering any trade-in deals for consumer line?? Nothing like $1000 credit for trade-in like they did with Note 20 Ultra??

Asked my AT&T Business rep any promotions for upgrading any of our eligible lines and he emailed me back...

"The S22 Ultra is in a pre-order process at this point; the pricing is $1199.99 and $1299.99 for the 256GB and 512GB, respectively.
And you can get up to $800 off with a trade in of an old device valued $35 or more in our system"

I'm waiting for a reply from him but what does $800 off an old device valued $35 or more in our system?? Does that mean if I have an iPhone 6 in my drawer and it's worth more than $35 in their system they will give me $800 off??

That's exactly what that means. All the eligible devices are listed on their site, too. I'm planning to trade in my old Note 4 for the $800 trade in value. I like to keep my most recent phone as a viable back up device so I'll hold on to my N9.
Keep in mind, though, that trade in value is applied as credits over 36 months.

I upgraded to the Galaxy Z flip in December and traded in my s21 ultra. Now Samsung tells me the ultra is worth 700 as a trade in on the s22 and the flip is 300. This in less that two months. I have been a loyal Samsung customer upgrading to their latest devices for years, but no more. iPhone here I come. Apple does not screw their customers this way ever. So Long Farewell Samsung.

I think the 128GB Ultra comes with 8GB of ram and the 256/512GB models come with 12GB of ram.

Ruben, doesn't the 512gb Ultra come with 12 gb of ram? Why does it say 8gb on AT&T's site? Do you think they just show ram for the base model, regardless of which one you get?

I think I'm going to go with ordering through AT&T as opposed to Samsung. $800 credit for a S7 vs. $500 credit for my S20 Ultra (found the S7 for $45 on craigslist). Samsung.com's $250 accessory credit isn't all that attractive when the 45g charger and most of the covers are not available. And I really don't need another set of head phones.

Thanks. Yeah my rep told me an iPhone 7 or newer will get me the $800 off. I'll have to think about it... $1199.99 for the 256GB - $800 from an iPhone 7 laying around = $400 out of pocket but I still keep my N20U.
