honestly im seriously considering picking up a nexus 4 to play with, sell my note 2 for around $500 and wait to see when both the s4 and htc one ship. get better dogfights and comparisons.

I've been wanting to get a one X?, then exchange it when the One comes out. But my luck, I'd wind up stuck w the X+.
My Inspire is barely hanging on. It aggravates me to no end!
after alot of thinking im not sure what im going to do right now. im really sickened we have to wait for both the s4 and the one to be released. especially htc, these phones are ready to go. it's the carriers that are holding it up.
some reps are just full of Sh**, i dont think he knew what he was talking about, HTC announced that the HTC One trade up program was extended until April 4 so im sticking to the first rumored Friday the 22nd release date, and three colors ? really there is only two
When you follow the terms and conditions from the HTC page it lists April 26th not the 4th as you've written.
If the phone don't come out on the 22nd. I'm going to just buy a international version and call it a day.

id buy the international version too but i heard their radio bands won't work on at&t LTE. there's not one valid reason why the dev edition isn't available for purchase right now.
Exactly. The. Dev version should be available now not waiting for att because I'm pretty sure everyone myself included would buy the one that's available first

i hate saying this but we in the US deserve answers. it's not right the UK is getting the phone but we have no clue when it will even be available. people on xda are pretty ticked off too. and htc wonder why they are in financial trouble. could it be the reason for the delay is to ship it with 4.2.2?

Yea I played with it last week. I could get it today & if the One isn't out within 14 days I can just return the X+, right??
FK, I HATE having to wait with a half functioning phone......
just read on xda alot of the UK one's are being delayed until the end of april? they have to be putting 4.2.2 on these, there's no other explanation for it.
Then explain that kind of delay. Also the fact we have no clue when it's shipping here in the states. Not even a preorder yet. The hype is starting to die off for this phone.

Maybe I'm wrong but preorders usually go up weeks in advance of a release. I think we got a ways to go yet folks.

Say what you will about Apple, when they launch a product, EVERYTHING is ready to go. Here's the phone, here's the OS, pre-orders start X date, release date on the xx/xx/xxxx. Google, Samsung, HTC....here's the phone, no idea when we'll release it.
