AT&T release date????

Ok, quick question here. My phone is dead. My question is...I know if I get a phone today, in 14 days or less, I can exchange/return it. AND that there is a restocking fee of $35. If after that first exchange, do I have 14 days to exhange/return that phone--with the fee of course???

At at&t i exchanged i exchanged two different phones twice in a row and they had no problem with it

They told me the phone i got after i returned the first i was stuck with. But you should ask first.

Your best bet is to buy something on Craigslist. I wouldnt go get any other phone on contract right now. We have no idea when the one will be released. You only have 14 days to return a device.

I agree to an extent. BUT if they are delaying it because they are working bugs out and giving us 4.2.2 as rumored on xda then it's worth the wait.

no not really they understood,yea both times they charged me but it was better to pay 35 bucks than being stuck with a phone i didn't like for 2 years

i beg to differ, lets face it, if the one doesn't go over well htc is about done and gone as a company. it's almost plausible they are getting 4.2.2 ready asap considering the s4 will ship with it. not to mention in about 6 weeks google will announce key lime pie. samsung will also have to ensure the s4 gets android 5.0 in a quick hurry to stay relevant. if not depending on how the next nexus device is, i see alot of people buying that. seriously man, it's just a phone, calm down a bit.

Ill prove you wrong rather quickly. 4.2.2 is a MINOR update. It is not KLP or anything close as a big deal at all. General consumers do not even care between 4.1.2 or 4.2 or 4.2.2. It looks the same nothing really changes besides what a few quick toggles in the notification bar? OH WOW! HTC is more concerned about getting this phone out to stores and have people ABLE to buy the god-damned thing before the S4 is relatively close.

They are pushing their luck here. If they release and the S4 release is already known they are in a world of trouble. Me, and A LOT of people will just wait for various reasons 1) Samsung appeals more to iOS switchers and the general stupid consumer or 2) Because people don't like being played, like me, with HTC having five different Fridays in the same week.

We did have a date. And that date was MARCH. HTC also claimed that the shortages do not impact the US so it should still be in MARCH. However, it likely won't be and that is what is pissing me the f off

I could kinda believe the end of the month release date.. i mean most pre-orders last for only a week or two.. and if the pre-orders go up on the 18th the device should be out around the 26th-29th.

But i also believe it won't be any kind of pre-order and they will just release the device as is.. first come first serve

I know this is an at&t thread but I just called a T-Mobile store in my area and they said they weren't going to do pre-orders for the HTC One and they had no release date at the moment but they will release it in the store.
