AT&T release date????

I guess I'll have to get it in store, because I'm going on vacation the 26th and that's cutting it wayyy to close, and are you sure???? Att usually starts pre-orders right before a release.

OK, this was what I've been told.....we can pre-order starting this Fri. In stores on Sunday, the 24th. Which I believe was stated in an earlier post. (sighssss)

AT&T employee here. Haven't heard a whole lot on the HTC One, which is strange because we haven't even received the in-store demo unit. Usually we do a week or so before the phone releases. But we also haven't received the Blackberry Z10 yet and that goes on sale next week so who knows.

Also we don't actually release phones on a Sunday anymore since like....last year. Release date in store has been on Fridays for a while now since we usually have to do the store reset on Thursday nights. But there's always room for a welcome surprise.

My guess is that we are probably looking at a release date of March 29th in store. The 22nd will probably be devoted to the Blackberry Z10 and it's launch. I can't see them releasing them on the same day based on the amount of customers calling or asking in store for the new BB. Delay it into April and your running into GS4 release territory, which based on the amount of calls we got today asking if we had them in stock, might turn out to be pretty huge.

That's also pretty hilarious that people were asking about the gs4 when the unpacked event is tommorow night..

Considering the z10 has preorders on att already, a htc one launch the week of the 29th sounds exactly right, I would expect preorders to start next week, although I'm going to have to get one in store because it would be delivered when I'm gone.

I've give up. I had a "so called" htc developer, message me on Twitter saying it'll be in stores, Friday, the 15th. I'm tired of waiting. It'll be there when it's there. But I've lost a lil respect for HTC, for not publicly confirming or denying all this delay BS.

Calm down!!! The phone gonna go out very soon!! 2-4 week is not the end of the world..remember when iPhone5 or Nokia lumia920 came to the store...very hard to get and see now u can walk to AT&T store and go home with the phone in hand...

Forget about the phone and do something else..I think if we have some unboxing htc one (At&t ver) coming on YouTube..the phone should come out very soon..

Agreed. Giving an actual release date would go a long way towards managing expectations.

There were rumors that HTC is having a few problems with their supply chain. This isn't AT&T's fault if true. They just have to deal with angry customer because of it.

We need to keep in mind that HTC never committed to an actual release date. All the frustration is based on speculation from blogs, etc., not based on any actual hard dates from HTC.

AT&T knows nothing......I went in there yesterday and had to tell them what the phone was.....they said oh we have the One X.....then they looked on their own website and said oh yeah there it is, no date no info no nothing....

Just call HTC and the rep said they gonna give the phone to the AT&T ,Sprint and T mobile tomorrow and depend on the the carrier when they will release the phone to public.. Hope they on sale soon.

Great news man ! Hopefully they announce the release date. Release it with the Z10 at this point. I dont care I just want my One ! And the 2 are targeting different audiences so its not like launching the One and the S4 the same day. Different target markets as I learned .

So that is two instances that states in stores on the 15th. I just talked to a friend of mine at AT&T in the Houston area and she said the truck arrives tomorrow and she knows what's on it and told me she would tell me if I jumped to AT&T(currently on Sprint). We joke about it all the time LOL but basically she said yes it'll be there tomorrow.

Now the funny thing is in the T-Mobile thread here a guy said the 24th is when he was told the phone goes on sale.

In two other forums they have been told the 24th as well, but one other guy said he was told to stop in tomorrow with money....

So it looks like the carriers are doing exactly what I said 3 weeks ago. They are going to sit on the HTC One info till after Sammy shows off there clout.

With that I am thinking I'm going to be on the phone right when my local Sprint store opens tomorrow to see whats up. I think that will be when they can start talking.

Well just like the Galaxy S3/Note 2 launch.. not every carrier is going to get it on one day..

one of my att buddies said the device will come out on the 22nd and he is a manager at a corp store.. so we will just have to wait till Friday and see if we get a pre-order page going live
