Too bad none of the carrier links on that page are live. Does this mean you have to actually go into a Best Buy to pre-order? Or maybe the page just went live a little prematurely...

LOL This phone has made me sign up for XDA and AC and refresh the sites like mad, thinking of learning to develop for Android aswell, the One would be a great phone to start with I think.

Hello, all. New member, here. I am anxiously anticipating the launch of this phone. Verizon has been very uncooperative with me, so I'm jumping ship back to ATT with the HTC One. I need a new phone, as my Galaxy Nexus is giving me fits with battery life (horrible, I think part of the battery is dead), there's a slight blotchy dead spot on the screen, and I just have that new phone itch, again. :-$ I was/am considering the Galaxy S4, still, but I'm not so sure its camera is going to wow me, nor am I fan of the Touchwiz overlay. Not to mention, the design of the One is gorgeous, aside from a poor choice of button placement. I just wish they would release the damn thing, already. I'm wanting to throw my money at them, at this point.

Ehhhh, maybe next year, I'm sure if I put an AOSP ROM on the One it will perform much better than the nexus device. I'm not too excited by the Nexus 4, need a new phone and don't want to wait until this summer for potential N5.

FWIW I called local Best Buy and they said that HTC moved pre-order date. They do not know when the pre-orders will go live.

i spoke with best buy couple minutes ago they said they are starting to take pre orders the week of 25th, the links are not working probably cause its a mistake

So he looked on there page and saw the ad but he couldn't pre order. Everything was blacked out and it wasn't on their list of phones that you can pre order. Crap
