AT&T S8 Plus "Bloatware"

Hello folks,
Pardon my ignorance but regarding the AT&T apps that come with this phone:
1. Can they be removed
2. Will removing them affect any OS updates?

I purchased this phone, along with the unlock code (in an email from AT&T) and am using it in my country (the Caribbean).

Third week with this device coming from iOS, so not sure about these pre-installed apps, and if being in another country would have me rely on AT&T to push updates to the device.

You can use package disabler (samsung) from the app store to remove the bloatware and it wont affect updates.
