AT&T SGS 4 - Having problems receiving group messages

When I receive group messages, they are coming in as individual download boxes that are 1KB in size and fail to download. I then have no idea what the message says. It is driving me crazy. I do have group messaging checked in the settings. Having auto retrieve checked or unchecked didn't make a difference because it happened both ways. I am at my wits end. I hope somebody can help me. I called AT&T and they had no answers.

If all else fails in the stock messaging app, try textra. Works wonders for lotsa people here

Thanks. I downloaded that app. I will see what happens the next time I get a group message. Nobody can seem to figure out what the problem is.
