AT&T to throttle data speeds for unlimited users!

AT&T has the most shady business practices of all Telcoms.
Everyone should have known that when they sold fast 3G phones as 4G phones.

It's funny how they do not tell you what the 5% generally uses.

In the end they are looking out for the network; I just hope that it is for protecting network and not making money at the end of the day (which I know is a big part of this issue).

Only seriously misinformed people thought the iphone 4 was a 4g phone.

Does anybody know how many GBs of data before AT&T send out the throttle warnings?

Just another reason why I'm happy to be a Sprint customer! For now anyways!

Rocking the HTC EVO 3D

This is why i made the switch to u.s cellular.

Att is a joke when i had them every month my bill would be more and more with no difference in usage

No. AT&T's is like 3.0000001G. The only network that could legitimately claim 4G speeds in a large number of markets (besides Verizon) is T-mobile. Its HSPA 42 is as fast as Verizon's LTE, but not quite as consistent yet.

I was contemplating moving to AT&T with a Galaxy SII or 4S (don't ask), but I can get faster and more consistent speeds with Verizon on 3G. (and that's WITH being in one of AT&T's 'enhanced backhaul' zones)

If I had good T-mobile service where I live I might have looked at them for my cell service. In the cities that I visit like Boston and what not I hear get great speeds. Sucks that here in VT its not the same story. Not that Sprint is that awesome too but I do get good service is 80% of VT so far. Plus I get an Airave.
