We know AT&T killed the FM radio that LG built in. ( May sloths infest their undergarments).
Spirit FM radio app does not work. There's a $8 Spirit 2 app for rooted phones... has anyone tried this on a rooted ATT G3?

While I haven't tried it, have you considered using TuneIn Radio? At the station I work at, we stream to TuneIn, our website, and a few other places. Many radio stations in my area stream. It's worth considering since AT&T borked the G3's FM radio.

The issue is I do not want to use data just for FM radio...it should be free and there are a lot of places where service drops WAAAYY below 4G or 4G LTE.

BTW- I heard from the developer. AT&T screwed our devices so badly that the app cannot be added even to a rooted phone. thanks AT&T. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your shorts.

Just face it blackdog, you're probably never going to be able to listen to the radio. Of course you could use an actual mini pocket radio, but it would be giving in.
