It's a personal thing, I think. I think Android is a very powerful OS, but for the iPhone suits my needs better. That's why I'm trading my Atrix back for an iPhone 4 tomorrow.
I use iWork on a MacBook Pro, and not being able to view Pages documents or Keynote presentations is extremely annoying. I can't view QuickTime movies either, which is what my school uses when teachers post videos online.
I also can't get past the little bugs that Android has. Random reboots, screen freezes, the capacitive buttons randomly stop working, etc. This isn't just an Atrix thing. My old Droid did it as well. And my Android-using friends with other brand phones have similar issues.
Don't get me wrong. I know that iOS has its own issues as well (crappy notifications especially). But, for me, the stability and reliability of the iPhone outweighs the increased functionality of Android. I want to be in and out of my phone as quickly as possible. I thought that widgets would make Android better at this. But when I pick up my phone only to find it has turned itself off, that slows me down significantly.
Again, I'm not an Apple fanboy. In fact, my favorite OS is webOS, and I will definitely be tempted by the Pre 3 when it arrives. But until then, I prefer iPhone. And that's the point... preference. Both are great operating systems. Use which one works best for you.
Flame away.
