Atrix Pre Order too Late?

I just pre ordered my Motorola Atrix today. I read on engadget that if you pre order after the 17th then you will receive the phone early March. Is this true? If so, why would I be receiving it after it comes out.Motorola Atrix 4G pegged for February 21st pre-order delivery -- Engadget

Was reported on Thursday (and I saw someone else say it Friday) if you ordered before 3pm CST 02/18 your order would ship for 02/21 delivery. Outside of that I think its a crap shoot. If you don't get it on Monday, go in store and pick one up on Tuesday and cancel your order.

this isn't iPhone, no lines no waiting. Ilm super excited but we are the majority. Most peoples eyes glaze over if you talk about the INSIDE of a phone, ha ha.
