I've had my familytalk plan forever.....they are always trying to get me to switch.....making the plan sound much cheaper. IS it the better plan? or is it a better plan for att??? on principle.... I don't want to switch after not pulling the trigger for the free double data plan. when they run the numbers for me, and after eventually adding the 4 installment plans, it's not really the cheaper plan.

Go into the store and have them run the numbers for you. AT&T is good for things like that - they'll run all their plans, so you can pick the best one for your situation. (Just don't get sucked into buying new phones unless you really want new phones.)

Are any of your plans on unlimited data?

no unlimited, but I did go into the store and lowered our minutes to 700, they carried over 3,800 we had on roll-over and I'm down $30/month with my old plan.... cheaper than the new one. then found they will only sell 2 year contract phones online (this official att store couldn't) and online the HTC m-8 was still $199 even though the m-9 replacement is out and also $199! off to eBay, keeping 2 of 4 phones "off contract".

Corperate owned and operated AT&T stores still do 2 year contracts.

Personally the share plan with a device that you own out right is the best way to go imo. Att offers great coverage and the pricing has become a lot better over the years! :-)
