I checked the att website and noticed that they have an " Unblock Sim Card" option in the manage phone area. Happy overall with the infuse but totally pissed about not receiving a timely GB update to enable Skype to function. Question, what benefit is there to unblocking a cell phone? What to expect after the unblock?? Thanks for a knowlegeable reply...

Well, acctually ive been using skype on my stock 221 infuse. Front and back cameras work with video chat. you should just beable to download from the market.

Agree with ImInfused, skype works on stock. Regarding SIM unblock, this will allow an unrooted phone to accept a SIM card from a carrier other than AT&T. This is helpful if you are traveling outside of AT&T's coverage area. Also useful if another carrier in your area offers a better deal than AT&T for service on any of the frequencies that Infuse uses.
