ATT has decided to be the bad guy taking away android freedom locking down bootloader.
Surprise! AT&T's Galaxy S4 Has A Locked/Non-Unlockable Bootloader

Sprint tried to pull this on HTC EVO 3D release a couple years back and customers set them straight using social media.
2 weeks of heavy facebook postings on both Sprint & HTC sharing dissatisfaction resulted in this - https://www.facebook.com/notes/htc/update-on-bootloaders/10150305151453084

This lockdown is bad news for all on ATT network , If they are able to get away with this nothing will stop them from locking future device releases down the road.
Make your voice heard , Call CS , post on ATT & Sammy Facebook pages etc.....Get Their Attention to unlock GS4 bootloader.

Your right, and it looks like djrbliss has unlocked the AT&T bootloader.
That he has great news thank goodness somebody from the inside supplied leak but doesn't excuse ATT away from locking down.
Maybe the next time such leak wont be available and users will be SOL.
With ATT pulling this stunt they will continue to lockdown which is bad news for all that enjoy android.

I erge anyone that's unhappy with ATT decision to lockdown to post in social media letting them know such activity is unacceptable

I'm one of those who participated in the HTC bootloader protest. I recommend burning up their social media just like we did with HTC. Its a shame to have to do it, but I am willing to help.

This development may change things for me because that only leaves Boom Sound and Note 2 as the only reasons for keeping the One.

My phone is a good One!

I was right there with you buddy , So many said it was a waist of time the big corps didn't care.
Well those naysayers were proven wrong

If ATT FB page was blasted for a solid week with threat postings going with Tmobile GS4.
Hmm att would cave lockdown would be a thing of the past
