ATT Note 7 IMEI not found

I bought 2 Note 7's today outright. When I go to ATT website to do the unlock, I get an error message saying the IMEI's are not found in ATT system. Probably because they just came out and the system has not been updated?

Could be. Also, your AT&T account must be at least 60 days old to request the unlock.

You don't need an ATT account to unlock a phone. As long as the phone is bought out-right or paid off, thats all that matters.

With all due respect you objectively do. Its right there in the T&C documentation on their website.
