My S4 from time to time (about 4 times now) will feel hot and start showing a lot of battery usage eventually it will deplete my battery in about 6 hours. If I check the battery usage it shows ATT Synchronize at the top of the list. I have tried the Force Stop it but it doesn't seem to help. Last time it lasted for about 2 days and then was normal again.

Can you disable the app? If so, do it. Syncing a large amount of data drains a lot of battery, but I can't see anything from AT&T that needs syncing - you should be syncing everything to Google.

I can't find an app called Synchronize on my phone and all of my mail is google. I don't know what is synchronizing I don't knowingly use anything of ATT because they always want to charge you an arm and a leg.
