attachments auto downloading...

Unfortunately I'm having another problem. My email attachments are auto downloading over cell. When I turn on WiFi they stop. My current download has been downloading for over three hours and I can't make it stop! I've even force closed the stock download app but once it restarts its back downloading again.
Anybody else having this issue or have any thoughts on better user control over this feature?
My s3 had great user interaction compared to Sony...just feeling a little frustrated and disappointed

There's an option in the email setting about auto downloading of attachments. Not sure why that wouldn't be working. Are you still in your window to take the phone back? You don't sound like you're enjoying it at all. Maybe you'd just be happier with a Samsung and Touchwiz.

Go to the download app and clear cache and data and force close it, that should take care of it. It happens when it begin to download a file and for some reason it stops without finishing.

Yes, it was very frustrating to have something downloading and not being able to stop it. Even after force closing the download app it would re start and continue. Its done for now but Im keeping an eye on this in the future.

You don't sound like you're enjoying it at all. Maybe you'd just be happier with a Samsung and Touchwiz.

Oh and JBeef..if every mobile user who post on this site looking for solutions to problems/ frustrations received your lame answer, this site would be worthless.

Hahaha. That's me told. But my phone is on a 2 year contract and I use it at least 3 hours a day judging by screen on time. If I wasn't happy and still had the chance to change I would. I just assumed looking at your post history you were unhappy with the Sony experience rather than looking for tips. My mistake.
