Attachments to emails

Hey guys. I was trying to attach a video I just took to an email and the only way I could do this was using astro. Is this really the only way. I couldn't see it when attaching. Then when I went into the gallery I wasn't able to share either. I'm I missing something? Thanks.

Im on ICS so it might be different....if I go into Gallery and select the video I want and hit the share button, an option for Gmail comes up. All the vids I picked were too large to attach but it seemed to be working otherwise.

Yea try doing it that way - find the video in Galley, long press, and then select Gmail from the Share menu
