Audio: Clipping/distortion driving me nuts...

The problem of sound clipping or distorting when I turn up the volume on my S4 has been driving me crazy. I know that others have mentioned this, and when the S4 first came out I read different theories online as to the cause. Has anyone figured out for certain what causes this and is there a fix? Thanks.

Talking about through 3.5mm jack or pure back speaker? Or both?

My phone fixed the problem after MF3 update. I had same issue before.

We probably need more info from you. Firmware version, playing sound methods, and etc.
