Hi All,
Firstly, I hope I have this thread in the right spot. Second, I have an issue with the Bluetooth audio in one of my vehicles. Specifically with my Pixel 7 Pro and my 2017 Ram pickup that has the Uconnect 8.4 Radio with the Alpine Sound System.
The issue that I am having is that any "Non-music/audio book" apps (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts) does not play any audio through the Bluetooth on my truck radio from my Pixel. My music/audio book apps like YouTube Music, Audible, and audio Bible app work just fine.
My Pixel works flawlessly on the Kenwood radio in my Ford Focus and my friend's 2013 Ram pickup that also has the Uconnect 8.4 radio with the Alpine system. Plus any of the various Bluetooth radios I connect to on many of the fleet vehicles at my employer.
Other things that I think would help. A family member who has an iPhone says all his apps play audio just fine in my truck.
The radio in my truck locks out the volume control when I either pause my music or open any of the aforementioned non-music/audio books apps.
I'm hoping y'all can help.
Thanks!
