Audio plays only right channel

I'm having problems with a few apps. In particular, the Google Play Music app and Doubletwist. Whenever I play audio with headphones, it only plays through the right channel (I've tried with three different sets of headphones and two auxiliary cords) yet, when I use YouTube, both channels come through just fine. Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm running CM10.1
