Audio Port Acting Up On a Spare G3

Hey. I have an LG G3 that used to be my main phone a couple of years ago... but now, I usually use it for fun stuff, like music and pictures. it's audio port has started acting up lately, Songs seem to pause midway, Google voice assistant window keeps opening up when it's not locked and stuff. I often have to mess with the cable to make it work. Often, I have to hold the phone in position so the sound output doesn't get affected. what am i looking at, apart from the obvious?

Does this happen with any headphones? How about a pair that doesn't have a mic or remote control buttons?
