Pretty much subsidized pricing... or like it from back in the days. Boy do I miss getting the best flagships at $199 just for staying on contract for 2 years. They really should bring that back. I don't find trading in phones a deal and more of a rip to keep your upgrading sooner tossing them a few hundred dollars more a year and losing your phone you had.

Most of us on here are addicted and like to jump on pre-orderes. With the trades and freebies it's usually a little better deal or a decent deal for the impatient.They are throwing some discounted prices on them S20 plenty ...I’ve seen some insensitive deals floating around ...overall better off waiting for most these phones ...we jump on them Bc we dolike to be with trade in deals ...

You were really paying for the phones back then because the monthly on subsided phones was higher per month ..so you were just paying it off in two years like you so now ...I looked at the ATT models are $300 off only ..Nice!! Wish site had a thumbs up emoticon for me to use

Yeah tell me about it .. always jumping here then yearly usually on my iPhone...and usually have two Androids part of the rotation..issues

I'm going to try really hard to go back to once a year. They are getting to expensive to do twice or more IMO

Yup agree ....happy to skip S series..I might stay on iPhone 11 Max this year and see where I want to go with next week..

Monthly what? Data plan?? My first smartphone was an iPhone 1 with the $20 data plan (I think... lol, was so long ago... was never taken off that plan by upgrading and never paid more unless that plan increased price) monthly unlimited data plan and was grandfathered with every new phone I bought until eventually I let it go to go with family plan. By that time, subsidized pricing was overwith.

4500 mAh battery in the Note 20 Ultra gives me pause, especially since it's going to be a 120Hz display.
LTPO display will help with this which can mean it can go down to 1HZ depending on the task.

So Samsung is giving out a 50 dollar credit to go towards anything but the phone. Do you still get that if you pre-order through your carrier instead? I've always pre-ordered through Verizon in the past.
