Yes, very much. August has made a lot of progress ironing out the kinks in its Android software. I can also say that in the past year, I've never had a hiccup that resulted in my being locked out or the door sitting unlocked. (Between this lock and my keyless car, I have not carried any keys in more than a year!)
A few months ago, I bought the August Smart Keypad, which has added even more convenience. I live in an apartment building, so now if I go to the pool or somewhere else in the building, I don't need to worry about having my phone with me (or having my battery die). I also bought the August Connect, so I can control the lock when I'm outside my network.
Within the past few months, August has added an app to Amazon Alexa, so I can check and lock the front door by voice from my Echo.
It is also now compatible with IFTTT. I have an IFTTT recipe that sends me a text every time the lock is unlocked, so I can tell if maintenance people from the building (or anyone) have entered or left. I also have it send lock/unlock notices to Evernote, which I've found convenient to know, especially for timekeeping. If you have more than one person in your household (or guests), you can assign people their own codes (via the app or the keypad), and IFTTT can report exactly who is coming and going. (For instance, you could have it text you when a kid comes home from school or in from a late date.)
There are a few things I'd like to see them improve more. The auto-unlock feature, which is based on whether you travel beyond a geofence range, is not perfect. I'd guess about 5% of the time it doesn't "see" me return to the geofence, so it doesn't unlock the door. (Again, I live in a high-rise, so it probably works better at a house.) Less frequently, it will see me, but it won't activate quickly, so I either have to stand at the door waiting, use the keypad, or open the app and unlock the door.
I don't use the app much anymore since I bought the keypad, but it can be a little glitchy sometimes. Right now, for instance, it doesn't show anything for my lock history. (That's OK with me, since I have the history in Evernote, but still...) August is very responsive with support, so things get fixed quickly these days. That is a HUGE improvement over where they were 18 months ago, when the Android app was a disaster.
So, all in all, I would recommend it.
