You can go to settings>apps>system apps>scroll until you see 2 update icon and clear it's data then force stop., Sometimes it works then manually check for software update

Same with me... what the heck? My husband has a note 9 , switched SIM from Sprint to T-mobile on the same day as me and has gotten 2 updates in the past week. Meanwhile, I'm still sitting on June update (which Sprint always pushed in a timely manner). We're both on unlocked versions. Oh well, I gotta learn how do this manually and bypass the pushes...

I'm just curious not trying to be offensive, why are so many so concerned about monthly updates if everything is functioning adequality? Most of the time when I get them something changes for the worse. Is it possible that all is working well and security is up to date so there is no reason to push an update?

I got it on my Canadian N20U today. It's the 1.2GB update that didn't come in July.

It's possible yes... but why would the same phone on a different network get 2 sometimes 3 updates to my none. Some got July and are currently getting August. It's a security issue for me but hey, if T-mobile "says" everything's fine I guess we should trust them right?... even if Samsung thinks we should get them...

They are security updates that patch things that were exploit, and some come with new features or performance enhancements.

Exactly this! There was a security exploration that July 2021 patch was supposed to fix. By now I don't even remember what the issue was. Also, a large Camera update was released. I'm still sitting on June 1st patch missing out on all the fun...

I am a die hard refuse to change Sprint sim for T-Mobile with so many off the Sprint network I get 524 meg down and 74 meg up. But that is not the point I received the update August update today and it was huge 1212 MB but it downloaded so fast I could not believe the size. Seems there is a new feature in the gallery to improve a photo but can't see anything else changed.
